This is my personal review of the Hamilton Beech Juicer. I have not been compensated or influenced in any way from anyone about this review. I bought and paid for this product myself. I have used this product several times a week for four months...
In this day and age of cheap junk, it is hard to find something of
value. If I have learned one thing it is not all expensive stuff works,
and not all cheap stuff is junk. However with there being so much junk
out there, purchasing something and honestly being happy about it is
somewhat rare.
I bought the Hamilton Beech Big Mouth Juice Extractor four months ago from Walmart for fifty dollars. At the time, I didn't want to spend more money on a juicer because I wasn't sure how often I would use it. I am glad now that I didn't buy a more expensive model because this one works just fine.
There are several reasons I like this juicer from Hamilton Beech. First and foremost, I loved the cheap price. Buying any kitchen appliance that does what it should for $50.00 is a steal! Second I love the power. I goes through carrots and celery like nothing. It doesn't feel bogged down are that it is straining. Third, like the name implies, I like the big mouth. It can handle big chunks of vegetables without a lot of pre-cutting. Third, dis-assembly is very easy for quick cleaning. Forth, I like the metal latches, instead of cheap plastic. Fifth, it just makes good juice!
One thing I do not like about the juicer is that it seems like you could accidentally turn on the unit while cleaning it. I have not tested this, but for safety I always unplug the unit prior to cleaning it.
If you are in the market for a juicer and do not wish to spend a lot of money, I would certainly consider this one

Review - Lenovo Laptop B570
This is my non geek review of the Lenovo B570 laptop after five months of daily use.
In this day and age of cheap junk, it is hard to find something of value. If I have learned one thing it is not all expensive stuff works, and not all cheap stuff is junk. However with there being so much junk out there, purchasing something and honestly being happy about it is somewhat rare.
At the beginning of November 2011, my old laptop died, so I was in the market for a new one. I did not want to spend the big money for one for several reasons. First, I do not game on my laptop. Second, if I am going to possibly lose, drop, or destroy something, I would rather it be inexpensive. Finally, I only need a basic laptop for what I do. So, I decided to search for a cheap laptop that would serve my limited needs.
I wanted a laptop that would stream Netflix and have HDMI out. The laptop I was searching for would mainly be used for blogging and email, but I also wanted one that I could edit my YouTube videos on. I started shopping online and found a laptop that fit my needs and budget.
I bought the Lenovo B570 laptop on November 1, 2011 for $299.00 at Bestbuy. It is now March 14, 2012, so I have used this laptop everyday for about five months. For the record, I am a heavy computer user that is on it for too many hours a day. So far the Lenovo has been wonderful. I love this laptop. The best thing about it is the price. For $300 US, you cannot go wrong. Also, I like that it doesn't get hot to the touch, especially on the bottom like my old laptop. My five year old Gateway laptop would run so hot, I couldn't rest it on my legs especially if I was wearing shorts. The Lenovo is amazingly cool to the touch. It produces so little heat the fan almost never runs. Another thing is my old laptop would shut down from overheating if I used it on a bed among covers. The Lenovo never has this problem!
This computer feels snappy even when I have many windows open. In the months that I have run it, this laptop has performed flawlessly and I have had no issues. I will add that I do not use the bio-security features that it has. I do not use the camera either. This laptop came with Windows 7 and an Intel processor. It has 3 GB ram and 320 GM HD. It comes with a 15.6 screen. It has a nice keyboard and also has a number pad section. Please check out the video I made when I first started using it for more details.
Whether this model is still around, I do not know. I thought this review would speak to the general quality of Lenovo laptops. I would certainly buy another Lenovo product again! I received no compensation from Lenovo for this review.
